Charlie’s Fare is a division of Yes Chef! that serves unique corporate foodservice needs such as employee dining in facilities without a cafeteria. We established Charlie’s Fare, in our grandson Charlie’s honor who was diagnosed with ATRT, and to help promote research for this extremely rare condition (fewer than 100 cases per year within the US) and typically fatal, with a survival rate below 30%. ATRT is a rare, fast-growing, and highly malignant brain tumor that primarily affects very young children, often under 3 years old. It often quickly spreads throughout the brain and spinal cord. The prognosis for ATRT can vary depending on the child’s age at diagnosis, the extent of tumor spread, and the success of treatment. While survival rates have improved, ATRT remains a challenging and often fatal cancer. A portion of Charlie’s Fare proceeds are donated towards ATRT research.
